Herta is an Ice-element character who follows the Path of Erudition. Her kit mainly revolves around her ability to deal continuous Follow-Up Attacks whenever an ally causes an enemy’s HP to fall below 50%. Herta is primarily used in Pure Fiction content because of her Follow-Up Attack mechanic.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases Ice DMG by 10%.
(4) After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their CRIT DMG increases by 25% for 2 turn(s).
Triggering her Ultimate gives Herta the Crit DMG boost she needs for her Follow-Up Attacks. This is currently her best set.
(2) Increases the DMG dealt by follow-up attacks by 20%.
(4) When the wearer uses follow-up attacks, increases the wearer's ATK by 6% for every time the follow-up attack deals DMG. This effect can stack up to 8 time(s) and lasts for 3 turn(s). This effect is removed the next time the wearer uses a follow-up attack.
If Herta is built purely for Pure Fiction content, this set is the best choice to boost her Follow-Up Attack damage output.

Best Planar Ornaments

(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 4%. When an enemy target gets defeated, the wearer's CRIT DMG increases by 4%, stacking up to 10 time(s).
Pairing this with the Hunter or Ashblazing set is a good option, especially when she is built for Pure Fiction.
(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.
This set is still good, but Herta should equip SPD boots to get the maximum damage boost it provides.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
Herta can benefit from this set because it focuses on enhancing her Ultimate and Follow-Up Attack damage.

Herta’s traces don’t specifically boost her Crit stats, so it’s better to focus on equipping Crit Rate on her Body slot and prioritize Crit DMG in her relic substats. Since most of her damage comes from her Follow-Up Attack, Herta’s boots should be ATK% rather than SPD.

Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 36~60%. Increases DMG dealt by the wearer's Skill and Ultimate by 18~30%. After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate, gains Somnus Corpus. Upon triggering a follow-up attack, consumes Somnus Corpus, and increases DMG dealt by follow-up attack by 48~80%.
Jing Yuan’s signature Light Cone is currently the best for Herta. It only requires her to use her Skill or Ultimate to gain the Somnus Corpus effect. This effect is consumed after a Follow-Up Attack, granting Herta the necessary FUA DMG buff until the end of the battle.

Meteor Swarm
For every enemy on the field, increases the wearer's ATK by 9.0~15.0%, up to 5 stacks. When an enemy is inflicted with Weakness Break, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 30~50% for 1 turn.
Herta can fully utilize this LC, especially in Pure Fiction, because it grants her ATK for every enemy on the field and also boosts her damage upon inflicting Weakness Break. This damage buff lasts until her next turn and is excellent for enhancing her Follow-Up Attacks.

Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 16~28%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 20% CRIT DMG that exceeds 120%, the DMG dealt by follow-up attack increases by 12~20%. This effect can stack up to 4 time(s). When the battle starts or after the wearer uses their Basic ATK, enables the DMG dealt by Ultimate or follow-up attack to ignore 20~36% of the target's DEF, lasting for 2 turn(s).
Equipping this on Herta requires her to first meet the conditions so her Follow-Up Attacks can ignore every target’s DEF for two turns.

Each Now Has a Role to Play
Increases the wearer's ATK by 16~32%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer's CRIT DMG increases by 24~48% for 3 turn(s).
To maximize this Light Cone’s effect, Herta must first defeat an enemy to gain the Crit DMG buff. She can easily do this since she is mainly used in Pure Fiction.

Increases the wearer's ATK by 8~12%. After using an attack, for each enemy target hit, additionally increases ATK by 4~8%. This effect can stack up to 5 times and last until the next attack. If there are 3 or more enemy targets hit, this unit's SPD increases by 8~16%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Using this on Herta in Pure Fiction allows her to take full advantage of everything it offers.
