Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae is a Physical-element character who follows the Path of Preservation. He is a powerful sustain unit that provides team-wide shields and grants an ATK boost to a single ally through the Bondmate mechanic. His shielding is stackable and can be easily replenished through his Skill, Ultimate, and Talent. Additionally, when a Bondmate is applied to an ally, Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae summons Souldragon, which has its own turn, provides shields each turn, and can deal damage after being enhanced by the effects of Dan Heng’s Ultimate. Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae's kit makes him a strong addition to ATK-scaling teams.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases Shield Effect by 10%.
(4) Increases Shield Effect provided by the wearer by 12%. When an ally target has a Shield provided by the wearer, the ally target's CRIT DMG increases by 15%.
This Cavern Relic set is his best, designed to provide stronger shields while granting additional Crit DMG to all allies.
(2) Increases Shield Effect by 10%.
(4) Increases Shield Effect provided by the wearer by 12%. When an ally target has a Shield provided by the wearer, the ally target's CRIT DMG increases by 15%.
(2) Increases DMG dealt to enemies with debuffs by 12%.
(4) Increases CRIT Rate by 4%. The wearer deals 8%/12% increased CRIT DMG to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs. After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
This set is only a good option when he’s in a DoT team, as DoTs don’t benefit from Crit DMG stats, which is the main effect of the 4-piece Self-Enshrouded Recluse set.

Best Planar Ornaments

(2) Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12%.
This is currently his best Planar set, primarily used to greatly increase the ATK of the character in the first team slot.

To make Dan Heng’s shield and ATK boost effective, he needs to reach at least 3000 ATK. Equipping an ATK% Sphere makes this goal easier to achieve, as DMG boosts are not essential for his sustain and buffing kit. Although his summon has a base SPD of 165, Dan Heng himself still requires at least 135 SPD to take turns more quickly. Lastly, using an ERR Rope helps improve his Ultimate uptime.

Targets with "Redoubt" deal 24~48% increased DMG, which further increases by 12~24% if the targets have summons.
This is his signature lightcone.

This is his best 4★ Light Cone, further enhancing his shield strength while also boosting his allies’ DMG as long as they are protected by his shield.

Increases the wearer's Max HP by 24~40% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 12~20%. When the wearer's HP is reduced, all allies' DMG dealt increases by 9.0~15.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). At the start of every wave, restores HP to all allies by an amount equal to 80~100% of their respective lost HP.
This is a decent alternative for maintaining his Ultimate uptime while also healing his allies at the start of their next turn.

Verdict
Increases the wearer's DEF by 24~40% and Effect Hit Rate by 24~40%. Increases the chance for the wearer to be attacked by enemies. When the wearer is attacked, increase their DEF by an extra 24~40% until the end of the wearer's turn.
This Light Cone doesn’t offer much in terms of effects, but its high Base ATK makes it a good option for reaching the 3000 ATK requirement.

A New Round of Shuffling
Increases the wearer's DEF by 16~32%. When the wearer is attacked, there is a 100~120% base chance to Burn the enemy. For each turn, the wearer deals DoT that is equal to 40~80% of the wearer's DEF for 2 turn(s).
Dan Heng can use this Light Cone especially when he is paired with Acheron in which the burn application helps the latter's Crimson Knot.
