Dan Heng is a Wind-element character who follows the Path of the Hunt. His playstyle centers on inflicting the Slow debuff to boost his damage output. He is relatively easy to build and synergizes well with debuff-oriented characters who can also apply Slow, allowing him to consistently benefit from his damage-boosting mechanics.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases DMG dealt to enemies with debuffs by 12%.
(4) Increases CRIT Rate by 4%. The wearer deals 8%/12% increased CRIT DMG to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs. After the wearer inflicts a debuff on enemy targets, the aforementioned effects increase by 100%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
This is currently his best set, as he relies on debuffs to increase his damage output.
(2) Increases CRIT Rate by 8%.
(4) Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.
This set can be considered only if his substat rolls already give him a 1:2 Crit Ratio.
(2) Increases Wind DMG by 10%.
(4) After the wearer uses their Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
This set is still a good alternative for Dan Heng, but it falls short in providing a stronger DMG boost.

Best Planar Ornaments

(2) Increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.
This is currently his best Planar Ornament, as he only needs to reach at least 135 SPD to activate the DMG buff. However, reaching 160 SPD requires pairing him with characters who can temporarily boost his SPD.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
This is a good alternative Planar Ornament, although it only boosts his Skill damage.
(2) Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50% or higher, the wearer's Ultimate and follow-up attack DMG increases by 15%.
This set is also a good alternative, although it only enhances his Ultimate damage.

Dan Heng must have at least 3600 ATK for his damage to be noticeable. Equipping him with a SPD boost while maintaining at least 135 total SPD is the bare minimum. Since he lacks additional DMG-boosting mechanics, he should use a Wind Sphere and an ATK Rope to meet the required ATK threshold.

Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 18~30%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, increases DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill by 6~10%. At the same time, increases the CRIT DMG of Ultimate by 12~20%. This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).
This is currently his best Light Cone. Reaching 160 SPD to fully capitalize on its buffs may be challenging but is achievable with the help of SPD-buffer supports.

Sweet Dreams
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 30~50%. When the wearer's Basic ATK or Skill DMG does not result in a CRIT Hit, increases their CRIT Rate by 36~60%, lasting for 1 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once every 3 turn(s).
This is his second-best 5★ Light Cone. While the Crit Rate buff may seem underwhelming, It's a reliable backup option in maintaining a 1:2 Crit Ratio.

Increases the wearer's CRIT rate by 8~16%, and increases their CRIT rate against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% by an extra 8~16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 20~40% for 2 turn(s).
This is his best free-to-play 5★ Light Cone, offering solid buffs, but it requires him to knock up smaller enemies first to maintain its effect.

For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8~16%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.
This is a good 4★ Light Cone, especially suited for 1v1 scenarios, as its buff disappears once Dan Heng targets a different enemy.

Increases the wearer's ATK by 16~32%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer's CRIT Rate by 12~24%.
This is a good 4★ alternative, tailor-made for boss fights.

Stave Off the Lingering Cold
After entering battle, increases the wearer's SPD by 8~12% and DMG by 12~24%. When the wearer takes DMG, this effect will disappear. This effect will resume after the end of the wearer's next turn.
This can be considered, although it requires Dan Heng to avoid taking any damage, including DoT effects, for the buff to remain active.
