Boothill is a Physical-element character who follows the Path of the Hunt. His kit revolves around his Standoff state, which allows him to deal high damage—making him especially effective in boss encounters. Additionally, he can apply Physical Weakness on his own, increasing his overall effectiveness without relying on external support.

Best Cavern Relics

(2) Increases Break Effect by 16%.
(4) If the wearer's Break Effect is 150% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10% of their DEF. If the wearer's Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15% of their DEF.
This is the best relic set for Break DMG-focused DPS, providing Boothill with the appropriate buffs to enhance both his Break DMG and Super Break. It also allows him to ignore 15% of the target’s DEF.
(2) Increases Break Effect by 16%.
(4) Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16%. After the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, regenerates 3 Energy.
The Thief set can still be considered, although it doesn't contribute much to Boothill’s damage. However, it helps restore his Energy, allowing him to use his Ultimate more frequently.

(2) Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 145 or higher, the wearer's Break Effect increases by an extra 20%.
This set grants Boothill a Break Effect buff, with an additional bonus if he meets the required SPD threshold.

Boothill should aim for 200% Break Effect to maximize his damage output, along with at least 135 SPD to ensure faster turn cycling. He doesn’t require high Crit stats, as his bonus ability, Ghost Load, converts Break Effect into Crit Rate and Crit DMG.

Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60~100%. The Break DMG dealt by the wearer ignores 20~32% of the target's DEF. When the wearer's Break Effect in battle is at 150% or greater, increases their SPD by 12~20%.
This Light Cone is Boothill’s signature, and it delivers exactly what he needs—increasing his Break Effect, allowing his Break DMG to ignore enemy DEF, and granting additional SPD if his Break Effect reaches 150% or higher.

Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 28~56%. When entering battle or after dealing Break DMG, increases SPD by 8~12%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can only trigger once per turn.
This is currently Boothill’s best 4★ Light Cone, as it provides a Break Effect buff. Equipping this Light Cone grants him faster turns when entering battle or inflicting Break DMG.

Increases the wearer's CRIT rate by 8~16%, and increases their CRIT rate against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% by an extra 8~16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 20~40% for 2 turn(s).
This Light Cone’s Crit Rate buff allows Boothill to land critical hits more consistently.

Answers of Their Own
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8~16%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.
Swordplay offers solid damage enhancement for Boothill’s Break DMG and is especially effective against single-target enemies. The only drawback is that its effect resets whenever the wearer switches targets.
